About Us

Our Story

The story of Serenity Acres began with John's deep fascination of science and nature.  After years of researching, attending beekeeping workshops, and gaining hands-on experience, John decided to turn his passion into a family venture.  With the support of his loving wife and six children, John embarked on a remarkable journey to establish his own small honey farm after several years of supporting local farmers with his pollinating service. Guided by his growing knowledge of bees, their crucial role in the ecosystem, and the extended North Carolina bee community he set out to create a haven for bees and produce the most exquisite honey in Northern Durham County.

We believe in the importance of maintaining a harmonious relationship with nature, and it is our mission to deliver honey products that are both exceptional in quality and environmentally responsible.  Our honey is extracted with care, preserving its natural flavors and nutritional benefits. We never compromise on the purity and authenticity of our products, and each jar of honey is a testament to our dedication.  We never filter or add additives to our honey.
